Rauboniai Village Community was established on 19 February 2003, and registered on 24 March of the same year. Over 50 residents attended the inaugural meeting and 42 of them expressed their wish to become members of the community.
The baptism of the community took place on 30 May 2003.

The first Rauboniai Village Community Council: Petras Uzėla, Gražina Paškevičienė, Aloyzas Gelažis, Stanislava Petronienė, Augustina Norkuvienė.
The aim of the Village Community Council is to mobilise the inhabitants of the village to solve common problems, to instil in them a sense of kindness and compassion, and in case of trouble not to be afraid to help their neighbours.The Council's ambition is to take care of the community's cultural and social needs, to organise events, training seminars.
